CRE's holiday plans and summer publishing schedule
The Commercial Risk Europe team will take a well-earned break for the next few weeks and our newsletter will pause whilst we are away and news is thin on the ground.
Adrian Ladbury, Editor of Commercial Risk Europe
As usual the 2012 holiday season has brought a natural halt to proceedings in the world of insurance, as risk managers and their friends from across the industry head off on their summer holidays.
In the UK press community we call this the 'silly season' when newspapers desperately scrape around to find news to fill their newspapers and websites.
One of the main founding principles of Commercial Risk Europe was that we would not bombard our readers with content just for the sake of it and would stick to the mantra of quality not quantity—hence our weekly rather than daily newsletter format.
